This is me
WHY:
In my work I express thoughts of life, fear, biology, and strangeness. The most minuscule thing in this world, a quark, to the largest thing in this world, such as a universe, are insanely similar not only physically but metaphorically. We need both to keep us alive, and yet we rarely think of either in our daily lives. My art strives to capture the beauty in each.
MATERIALS:
I create almost all of my my own mediums in order to go deeper into the materials I’m using. Most of my paints are made from everyday items such as egg yolk, flowers, sand, and gel to create my textures.
